Caritas Friday Recovery Road show

The Caritas Friday Recovery Road show is a consumer led project to keep Recovery on the agenda in the O’Brien Centre. Click here for a poster Caritas Friday Recovery Road show V0.2 300515

It involves the following; on the Fridays that the Consumer Participation Office is working in the O’Brien Centre a Consumer Wellness Plan and Self-Assessment (K10) group will be held on level 5 in Caritas around 11.15

This group will raise awareness about the Consumer Wellness Plan and Self-Assessment measure (K10)

The Consumer Wellness Plan is a map of recovery, where you are and where you want to get to.

It serves as a reminder about what you can do to stay well, what you will notice when you are unwell and what you would like to happen if you become unwell.

It may be completed with your help by your primary carer or clinicians and you can ask for a copy.

The K10 is the questionnaire that was chosen by consumers in mental health services in NSW in 2003 by MHOAT CCC..

Its purpose is to help you and your treating team to get a better understanding of how you are feeling for the past 3 or 4 days

If you would like more information about either the Consumer Wellness Plan or the Self-Assessment measure (K10) ask you SHIFT nurse to make a time to talk about either of these measures or come to the Inner City Super Group on a Wednesday afternoon on level 3 from 1 till 4 pm
